SASQUATCH CAMOUFLAGE - HUMANS ARE VISUAL LEARNERS

Let's talk about Sasquatch appearance/disappearance. Specifically, I am addressing the issue where witnesses allege the cryptid simply "vanishes" before their very eyes. So what are some of the ideas submitted to explain this?

One is the interdimensional hypothesis. It has been proposed that Sasquatch has the ability to, for lack of a better description, 'fade out' of view as if stepping through a wormhole. Being interdimensional beings, they would supposedly have the ability to time-slip in and out of our reality at will. Others are committed to the idea that they are thoughtforms manifested by the experiencer, and being such also disappear due to conscious or subconscious efforts. Because of a body never being found as proof, these magical explanations do hypothetically tie up a lot of loose ends, however they are without proof and should be given due consideration as such. Then there is the opposing idea that Sasquatch is a 'flesh and blood' creature, incredibly elusive, living in isolated, hard-to-reach areas and possessing forest parkour that would put the most experienced game tracker to shame.

There seems to be no middle ground when it comes to Sasquatch ideas, but as opposite as both camps of belief are, there seem to be no new ideas in pursuit of the real objective, which is to prove this cryptid's existence. Methods still being employed are looking for tracks, bent branches, listening for howls at a distance, ambiguous night thermal images, missing and/or replaced gifted items, etc.

Due to stories by investigators in the Sierra Nevada mountains stating seeing a Sasquatch walking away and disappearing without the benefit of cover, it made me think of the possibility of frequencies being the camouflage itself. You may be familiar with a kind of example in our world today of this. This is sometimes referred to as the "strobe effect." You can see a video example of this at my facebook page "Other Realms Contact Seekers."

We often think of certain sources of light giving a continuous light stream when in reality, the light emanating is actually pulses of light. The perfect example of this is to shoot a video where the camera's shutter speed and the frame rate do not match up with the frequency of the light source pulses. I did this by shooting video at 30 fps (frames per second) at a convenient store's outside lighting. My video replay shows lights pulsing on and off instead of be on continuously. It's all about frequency. Looking at a running car engine using a strobe light with the proper frequency will allow you to see the moving parts as though they were completely still and not moving.

It is commonly accepted that shooting video of fast action sports should be recorded at least at 60 fps or faster. This avoids motion blur. Now concerning Sasquatch, where have we ever heard about or noticed video blur? Blurry photos and videos are probably the most popular Sasquatch memes today. Even recording video at 48 fps eliminates panning blur. It is not unusual for the preponderance of Sasquatch captures by photo or video to be done on smartphones today. Are these photos/videos of proof capable of video capture at higher frame rates? Are we looking at this as part of our data logging?

My thinking-out-of-the-box hypothesis concerns Sasquatch being a flesh-and-blood creature but with a natural vibrational ability than our eyesight normally does not allow perception of. Most people do not detect flicker above 400 Hz. Flicker that is visible to the human eye will operate at a frequency of up to 80 Hz. So, what if Sasquatch's normal vibration is above that? We wouldn't see it. The 100–120 Hz flicker produced by magnetic ballasts in fluorescent lights is associated with headaches and eyestrain. Sasquatch experiencers state such symptoms, attributing these reactions to infrasound from the cryptid. How silly does this vibrational idea sound? Before you pass judgement on it, consider the hummingbird. Their wings appear almost invisible due to the reason they are being flapped at up to 70 times per second! Many creatures and insects on this planet also have natural abilities to hide themselves in open view of our eyesight. Uroplatus Gecho, Bagworm Moth Caterpillar and Dead-Leaf Moth have incredible ways to hide themselves (look them up). For those that cannot change to hide, their natural colorings allow them to blend in so well with their surroundings to the point of disappearing. It is the very reason you cannot see some animals until they move, like a mule deer or mountain hare to name a few. So, why not Sasquatch? If we believe Sasquatch to be a physical creature living on this planet, perhaps it has a normal vibrational frequency that our eyesight cannot detect, no different from infrared or ultraviolet light frequencies. Could the reason they are spotted is because they change that vibrational level, a kind of temporary, relaxed or enhanced metabolism, attaining a frequency that is within our vision capabilities?

If nothing comes of this idea, at the very least there will be data to show what the anomalous events ARE NOT, rather than simply failing to find what they ARE. There are powerful social forces that inhibit "coming out" with new ideas that in all fairness, are susceptible to mocking by the skeptical community. The negative proof fallacy supports the typical skeptical outlook, however the experimenter effect supports new ideas, and by definition: "if a skeptic does a parapsychological experiment, they're likely to get a null result. They will say that that proves objectively that there's no such thing. It doesn't prove anything like that. It just proves he has an experimenter effect as well."

There are many examples of nature's incredible ability to hide using some form of camouflage, including looking totally different from their true appearance. Uroplatus Gecho, Bagworm Moth Caterpillar and Dead-Leaf Moth have incredible ways to hide themselves (look them up). For those that cannot change to hide, their natural colorings allow them to blend in so well with their surroundings to the point of disappearing. It is the very reason you sometimes cannot see some animals until they move, like a mule deer or mountain hare to name a few. So, why not Sasquatch? If we believe it to be a physical creature living on this planet, perhaps it has the ability to attain a normal-for-them vibrational frequency that our eyesight cannot detect, no different from infrared or ultraviolet light frequencies.

A recent experiment done underwater by David Gruber, PHD, Professor, Biology & Environmental Science, Baruch College, City University of New York and Ichthyologist John Sparks, PhD involved shining blue light on different fish at depths up to 180 meters, to prove that certain fish absorb that blue light and emit a different color back out. Eels, sting rays and sharks were among the 180 documented-to-date species that emit a different glow from the color of light they absorb! That was only half the finding, however as the wavelength of light emitted must also be able to be observed. This emitted fluorescense's purpose was noticed on the Swell Shark as being able to be observed by other similar Swell sharks in the dark depths of the seas. A study of their vision revealed the ability to see this emitted fluorescense at a perception level one hundred times greater on average than a human could. This ability also creates much more contrast to be seen than a dissimilar sea creature would be able to perceive. Another example is the Crystal Jelly that glows blue. The incredible thing is that although visually appearing to glow in the color blue, it was giving off green light, having a green fluorescent protein (GFP) that absorbs the blue light and turns it into green light. Incredibly, the GFP protein can be inserted into just about any organism to facilitate a glow that has proved to be amazingly useful in cancer medical research as well.

This exemplifies the lessons waiting to be learned from, and secrets to be revealed by nature itself. The jellyfish mentioned above is a perfect example, waiting to be learned from its existence of approximately 500 million years. But.... are we learning or ignoring these lessons? Instead of looking for secrets of life evolving beyond our own planet, we have yet to discover the uncounted, many secrets here on planet earth. The illusiveness of Sasquatch might not be as much attributable to the intelligence they seem to possess, but rather a simple trait inherent in its natural ability, and taken for granted as much as we do having an imagination, allowing us to pursue answers to mysteries such as this!
