BEWARE THE VEILWALKER

As the debate continues as to the existence of Bigfoot/Sasquatch, I would like to relate a conversation I recently had with a close friend of mine, an avid hunter. This man is 2-tour Iraq & 1-tour Afghanistan deployment Army veteran. He is of impeccable character. Here is a part of my interview with him.

Q. So, you were hunting. What region were you hunting in?

A. We were up by Craig, Colorado, Unit 4 located in Northwest Colorado.

Q. What were you hunting?

A. We were hunting elk. My buddy & his dad wanted to stop in a particular area. The dad got out and started going up a hill. Me and my buddy just stayed on the road. We were glassing and that sort of thing. We just happened to look up and there was right along the tree line what appeared at first to be a hunter. But then I started thinking that he looks awfully big. I then realized he wasn't wearing any orange. I just watched him for a little bit. He just kind of stood there. I had looked away for just a moment and upon looking back he was gone.

Moonjoey Note: In a 3800-acre designated hunting area during peak Elk hunting season, you would have to be a moron to stand out in an open, unobstructed place without wearing the color orange. It's a good way to get shot! Related to the topic of Bigfoot, I know engaged in a conversation with Microsoft CoPilot AI as follows.

Moonjoey: Hello, CoPilot. State compelling scientific reasons as to why Bigfoot can't be real.

Copilot: Certainly! Let’s delve into the scientific perspective on Bigfoot and explore why it’s unlikely that this legendary ape-human hybrid truly exists:

Lack of Biological Evidence:

Despite numerous claims and sightings, there has never been any real biological evidence supporting Bigfoot’s existence. No bodies, bones, skin, hairs, or DNA have been found.

In the world of science, to validate the existence of an animal, we typically need some tangible part of that animal. In Bigfoot’s case, there’s nothing at all.

Eyewitness Accounts Are Unreliable:

Many Bigfoot believers rely on eyewitness accounts as proof. However, these accounts are shockingly poor in reporting what actually happened.

While they make good stories, they don’t hold up as reliable scientific evidence.

Population Size and Reproduction:

If Bigfoot were a real creature, it would belong to the hominid family. For such a species to exist, there would need to be a significant population of hundreds of individuals to ensure reproduction.

Yet, despite the myth, we don’t observe a large population of Bigfoot creatures.

Habitat and Distribution:

Primates, including hominids, generally flourish in tropical and subtropical regions like South America, equatorial Africa, and southeast Asia.

The dense forests of North America, where Bigfoot is said to roam, are not a likely place to find an unknown bipedal hominid.

Faked Evidence:

Footprints, DNA samples, remains, photographs, and films have all been faked and disproved in the past.

Doubts, errors, and possibilities of fraud surround much of the evidence.

In summary, while the legend of Bigfoot persists, the scientific community remains skeptical due to the lack of concrete evidence and the implausibility of its existence.

Moonjoey: Hypothesize how a hominid the size of Bigfoot could use a type of vibrational frequency within itself to distort light and have a transparent appearance.

Copilot: Certainly! Let’s embark on a speculative journey into the realm of imagination.

Title: The Veilwalker

In the dense, ancient forests where shadows linger and whispers weave through the leaves, there exists a creature known as the Veilwalker. This elusive hominid, akin to Bigfoot in size, possesses an extraordinary ability: the manipulation of vibrational frequencies within its very being.

Bioluminescent Resonance:

The Veilwalker’s skin is not merely flesh and hair; it’s a living canvas of bioluminescent cells. These cells pulse with energy, resonating at frequencies beyond human comprehension.

When the Veilwalker desires concealment, it orchestrates a symphony of vibrations, aligning its cellular harmonics with the ambient light. The result? A shimmering translucence that renders it nearly invisible.

Quantum Cloak:

The Veilwalker’s physiology defies conventional biology. Its cells harbor quantum entanglements, allowing them to exist simultaneously in multiple states.

By manipulating these quantum threads, the Veilwalker bends light around its form. It becomes a walking distortion—a ripple in reality—its edges blurring into the forest backdrop.

Frequency Modulation:

The creature’s heart emits a steady rhythm, like a cosmic metronome. Each beat resonates through its body, altering the refractive index of its tissues.

When threatened, the Veilwalker accelerates its pulse, shifting its vibrational frequency. The world around it warps, and it steps into a parallel dimension—a place where light refracts differently.

To our eyes, it appears transparent, a ghostly silhouette. But in its own reality, it remains solid, watching us from the veil.

Temporal Phasing:

The Veilwalker’s existence transcends linear time. It can briefly phase out of sync with our temporal flow.

Imagine a slow-motion dance: as it steps forward, milliseconds stretch into minutes. During this temporal hiccup, it slips through our reality, leaving behind a faint echo of its passage.

The Whispered Forest:

Legends say that the Veilwalker guards ancient secrets—the murmurs of forgotten civilizations, the echoes of vanished tribes.

When it walks, it stirs the air, releasing these whispers. Those who listen closely might glimpse lost histories, hear the heartbeat of Gaia herself.

Remember, dear reader, this tale is spun from the threads of imagination, woven with stardust and wonder. The Veilwalker remains hidden, a spectral guardian of the wild places, forever dancing between light and shadow.

Moonjoey: Can you take your hypothesis a step further and describe existing animals today that come close to or mimic such an ability.

Copilot: Certainly! While we don’t have creatures exactly like the Veilwalker from our speculative tale, there are existing animals with fascinating abilities that share some similarities:

****Cuttlefish (Sepia spp.)**:

Cuttlefish are masters of camouflage. They can change their skin color and texture to blend seamlessly with their surroundings.

Their skin contains specialized cells called chromatophores, which expand or contract to display different colors. By adjusting these cells, cuttlefish can mimic patterns, textures, and even the play of light.

While not transparent, their ability to manipulate their appearance is reminiscent of the Veilwalker’s vibrational frequency control.

****Glass Frogs (Centrolenidae)**:

Glass frogs are found in Central and South America. Their skin is semi-transparent, allowing us to see their internal organs.

Their unique feature is their translucent abdominal skin, which reveals their beating hearts and digestive systems.

Although not intentionally manipulating light, glass frogs demonstrate how transparency can be advantageous in specific environments.

****Dusky Salamander (Desmognathus spp.)**:

These small salamanders inhabit forested areas in North America.

Their skin is partially translucent, allowing them to blend into leaf litter and moss-covered rocks.

While not as dramatic as the Veilwalker, their natural transparency provides excellent camouflage.

****Leaf-Tailed Geckos (Uroplatus spp.)**:

Native to Madagascar, leaf-tailed geckos are masters of mimicry.

Their flattened bodies resemble leaves, complete with leaf-like fringes and patterns.

When pressed against tree bark or leaves, they become nearly invisible due to their uncanny resemblance to their surroundings.

****Octopuses (Octopoda)**:

Octopuses are renowned for their adaptive camouflage. They can change color, texture, and even mimic objects.

Their skin contains specialized cells called chromatophores, similar to cuttlefish.

While not hominids like the Veilwalker, octopuses demonstrate how intelligent creatures can manipulate their appearance for survival.

Remember, these animals don’t possess the exact abilities of the Veilwalker, but they showcase the remarkable ways nature has evolved to blend in, deceive, and survive. Perhaps hidden within their adaptations lies a hint of the fantastical.
